The Entertainment District

The Entertainment District of Toronto is known to be popular with young urban professionals, both singles and couples, who desire an urban lifestyle close to their downtown offices, shops, restaurants and nightlife. It’s even been compared to New York’s Soho neighbourhood. King West is home to many theatres and performing arts centres, the Toronto Blue Jays, and an array of cultural and family attractions. The area is concentrated around King Street West between University Avenue and Spadina Avenue.

The Entertainment District has a vast selection of condominium buildings in the city. Units in this area often feature a lot of light and open space, high ceilings and balconies. Some of the buildings in this area even contain two-storey lofts. There are a number of transit options in this area, streetcar routes on Bathurst, King Streets and on Spadina Avenue which will connect passengers to either the subway on Line 1 or 2. By car, this area is in close proximity to the Gardiner Expressway and Lakeshore Boulevard, linking residents to all the major highways leading into and out of the city.
